The Now Debate

The Now debate was a podcast started by myself and Richard Oliver from Paranormal Now. A Paranormal podcast with the premise of discussing our work and showcase the Paranormal, Spirituality, and how these relate to world events.

Between 2017 and 2019 we averaged 2 shows per month, however things really kicked into high gear in 2020 during the COVID 19 Pandemic where we took the show to the next level by broadcasting live weekly.

During the course of the shows run, we covered subjects such as

This damning story of the royal family has sparked outrage on all sides of the argument and brought into question one of the UKs most cherished institutions. Are we seeing more evidence of this great shift that is happening around us, truth and authenticity coming out providing an avenue for the downfall of corruption in our world or is it something else? We were told by the Council of 12 that institutions will fall. So what is the bigger picture of what is going on.

We invite Jesse An Nichols George on the channel for a special report to give her insight into what this interview means for the Royals and the wider public.

Johns Bio

John was born in Australia in 1963 and moved to New Zealand in 1985.

His first memory of an abduction was at the age of three. I have also been able to astral travel quite easily all my life (a gift he has passed on to my three children)

John said to us

On the 11th/11th/1980 I had a bad motorcycle accident and died at the scene. As I hovered above my body I noticed a bright light above me and started to float upward. To the left of the light tunnel was an old wise looking man. He spoke to me telepathically and told me I was very badly damaged but if I wanted to go back that there was a price and that he would fix my soft tissue injuries but I would still have broken bones. I agreed.

The next thing I was back above my body an Ambulance was there and two paramedics were working on me.Then they used what seemed to be a Defibrillator on me the next I remember waking up in the hospital.

I recovered over the next year and almost a year after my accident is when the big shit started. The longest they took me was 3 days but I was gone 30 years. I found this out through a hypno session with Mary Rodwell. Sadly my session with Mary was not recorded due to technical errors.

I looked for a hypnotherapist for years but no one would touch my request till 2004 after a back injury then medical misadventure that should have left me paralysed. I met Terry Keillor. In time and many sessions later Armesiss said forTerry to write a book from our sessions.

Last year we were contacted by Caz Clarke and Gari Jones, the lead investigator and witness to the famous UFO altercation that took place in Pentyrch near Cardiff in South ...Wales back in 2016.

It was the fifth year anniversary of the site so we decided to head to the scene of the original incident and see if we could capture something. As those who have followed our channel for some time know, we have been receiving communication through the spirit box from a group known as the Council of 12 who during one of these conversations told Richard that he would also see activity in the woods behind his house. These woods were the second site connected to the Pentyrch incident in 2016

So on the 27th of February 2021, Richard took a drive to the area again to see what he could pick up. In the night sky he filmed an object very similar to the one that he filmed behind his house. Tonight on the Now Debate we welcome Matt and Eleena Mullins alongside fellow investigator Travis Caine from Ghostnet Paranormal to talk about their recent feature on the hit travel channel ...show Paranormal Caught on Camera.

Eleena talks about her experience with the estis method of spirit box communication where someone listens to a spirit box under sensory deprivation, relaying the messages to other members of the team who ask questions unbeknown to those experiencing the communication.

In this experience Eleena found that a spirit, moved her head to the right to a point that she could not move it back, a terrifying experience to say the least though, more frightening upon reflection than going through. Needless to say Matt was not happy with the spirits actions towards his wife.

Matt and his team also share other experiences with us, such as a ball moving on it's own accord when investigating a local masonic lodge and a spirit that appears on a Kinect SLS camera.

Finally we also find that someone is trying to communicate with us as we conduct the interview as we experience several EVPs coming over the audio feed. We have transcribed these EVPs however they do draw up some questions for us and the GHostnet team which we will be sure to explore further as we move forward.

This is the first time for me sharing my story in this way, but I have chosen to do it because with everything I am seeing in the world today I have decided I need to speak my truth, as I know there is a better way. This is a very strange story which starts from growing up with spirits around me, but what it grew into something much deeper. Though I would be quite street growing up in the welsh valleys during the dying days of industry and the aftermath of the miners’ strike, it was not uncommon for you to see me getting into all sorts of mischief back then.
Then there was that side of me, the side that asked, why do I see ghosts around me? Seeing loved ones after they had died, having blankets and bedding torn off during the night or even being pulled out of bed, experiences that those around me at the time simply didn’t understand.
I would often call this side my curse, as it conflicted with everything I was seeing, how others were feeling, I often found myself wondering what to do when you feel a connection to something greater than yourself.
I have now come to realise that growing up with spirits around me was a learning experience, one where I would get to understand love and the spirit world. That my terrifying ghost story had a purpose, I would ask questions to myself such as what it was like to be spiritual? Or what is it like to live a spiritual life. Through this story which I am about to tell I want to show that there is magic in everything, that this is God’s message if you like, is how to recognise your own divinity and not make the mistakes of the past.
Strange experience in Barry Island.
One of these experiences I had growing up was in the South Wales seaside town of Barry Island, which in the 1990s was still quite a popular destination for summer day trips with family and friends, having a beach, arcade, fairground and other facilities.

For tonight's Now Debate we have a very special Guest. Kent Burris from Ghosts ...of Carmel Maine. Who graciously offered his time to tell all about his experiences living in the Lamb house in the Town of Carmel, Maine USA,.

Kent moved into the house in 2014 and family members and others noticed strange occurrences throughout the house. However Kent, working long shifts did not believe that ghosts could wander the earth and thought there must be a logical explanation to the hauntings experiences being reported.

This was until around July of 2017 where Kent had the experience of hearing a disembodied voice and being physically touched by one of the spirits residing in his home. He began to investigate and captured unique photographs of different entities in his home.

Since then Kent has documented his experiences on the Youtube CHannel Ghosts of Carmel Maine and has recorded some of the most prolific events of Paranormal activity ever recorded on film.

From encounters with a range of spirits, to an entity affectionately named shadow dude Kent recounts his experiences as to the dramatic experiences recorded in his home.

Kent has never monetised a video on his channel and has done this purely for the exploration of the paranormal, the experiences documented on his channel are beyond imagination and well worth a check out. After speaking to Kent for several hours, it was awesome to see just how genuine a person he really is.

In the video we tried to sum up some of the messages we have had from the Council of 12 and other ...spiritual groups, regarding the state of the world in 2020. The response we had back from you guys was amazing.

Around the same time, we saw a Picture on the ITC collective from Garrick King which blew our mind. Soon after the video Garrick contacted us and said that he had also had information from the Council of 12 specifically through a being that referred to himself as Enoch or Eoch.

Garrick King is an independent ITC researcher. Since the age of 3 or 4 years old he has had paranormal experiences that range from ghostly hauntings to several UFO related events. He grew up in Ponca City, OK and moved to Tulsa, OK when he was 21. Now at age 47 he lives with his husband Glenn and their 3 pugs, Lucy, Pearl and Winston.

Garrick has captured some amazing images through the use of the infinite loop technique pioneered by the Scole group experiments in the 1999s and we discuss some of the amazing captures he has come up with .

Around November of 2019 Paranormal Investigator Richard ...Oliver started documenting UFO activity in the skies behind where he lives. We also found a message from the ghost box recorded in October of 2019 from the Council of 12 saying that the activity was them.

We put these sightings on the channel and they caught Gari's attention as they may have been connected to other sightings he has investigated in the past. Most notably the Pentyrch incident in 2016 where many witnesses believe they saw military vehicles shooting down a UFO.

Gari is a meticulous researcher and has gone to great lengths to either prove or disprove the sightings Richard has documented. The particular sighting documented in this video is one that took place on April 2nd 2020 where Richard documented an orb light object in the sky interacting with a helicopter.

In this documentary Gari breaks down everything connected to this case with in depth interviews with Richard and Partner Emma and gives expert insight into where his research has lead him.

John asked to come on the show to tell his amazing story of demonic and spirit encounters which have resonated throughout his family line. Terrifying bright eyed shadow beings confronted John in his garage one day starting a chain reaction of events that have made John look inwardly and discover his connection to God and Divine love.

John begins by telling us about experiences he had when he was younger, being sensitive to the spirits of family members, some of who he doesn't know but seem to have a link to his past. He describes a confrontation with demonic entities in his Garage and in his room at night which through later research found it was linked to his family line.

John also experiences re-occurrence of phantom hitchhikers that appear in his car asking for a lift home.

It was during this session that Jared and Richard pick up on a spirit around John, and bring forward someone he has seen before and recognised. We believe this episode was an opportunity not only for John to tell his story but for us to show you the real effects the paranormal has on real people.

Dear Park CBS a school in ireland (Cork) installed motion activated cameras and caught these videos of paranormal activity. It was posted to the schools Youtube channel in 2017. The building was originally built in 1828 Staff and others including the school headmaster report that they feel a chill in the air when at school. One of the teachers brings his pet in with him and the pet never wants to go down that way. Along with the cameras there are motion detectors near the windows which did not pick anything up as this evidence was being documented. Although it was filmed before a halloween event which charged £5 for a halloween party

One of the things we said on this channel and within our own circles is that one of the biggest challenges during everything going on in 2020 was going to be mental health. The implications of people not being able to leave their home, having their businesses effected and even problems with the economy is going to put a strain on everyone - and you are now seeing the divides forming in our society. As much as mainstream media want to brush these issues aside, they are there in their true form.

There is still a huge stigma attached to mental health, especially when it comes to men. Have we as males lost our drive? Are we losing our way in how we feel about the world and interact with the world.

As a professional life coach with a no breathing around the bush attitude Micheal gives the situation to us straight, how are we thinking about ourselves, what are we feeling about ourselves and how can we turn that around. Understand what we are feeling and then act on it to change the situation and make the outcome better for all concerned.
